My husband and I are busy professionals, with little time to plan for a wedding.  With a quick engagement, we decided to choose a wedding planner that was suggested to us by our venue (she will remain anonymous).  Although we felt she was (very) over-priced, she assured us that she would take care of most details needed for planning our wedding.  However, this was not the case.  After months of trying to coordinate with her, she had done little to no work on planning our event.  Ultimately, all she did was refer us to potential vendors; and we had to research them and contact them personally.  Luckily, she referred us to Steve Chacon of International Music Productions.

When we first met Steve, we were impressed by his organization and attention to detail.  His wife, Liz, was there; and we felt like they truly cared.  After one meeting with him, we felt like he had done more for us than our wedding planner!   We finally started to feel at ease, and like we were making progress on planning our event.  Then we learned that his wife, Liz, is a wedding planner!  We were disappointed and disgruntled with our current one, and decided it was not worth the money to work with someone who wasn’t doing their job in a timely manner.  So we swallowed the cost of her services, and decided to work with Liz instead.  This was an invaluable decision!

Liz is also exceptionally organized.  She is reliable and efficient.  As any future bride knows, there are a myriad of details that go into planning your day.  Liz was on top of it all.  She had a solution to all my concerns.  For example, when I couldn’t find someone to do my hair and make-up, she referred me to her niece Nicolle and her friend Nancy.  They came to my home and did a trial- and again, I was impressed!   We hired them for our wedding and they were able to accommodate 5 bridesmaids, my mother and mother-in-law, as well as myself.   They did a professional and great job.

I had the utmost confidence in Liz.  She is extremely conscientious, dependable, and prepared.   She exceeded my expectations.   Our wedding was seamless.  My mother described it as “prefect and flawless.”  My sister described it as “no stress.”  There is not much more a bride can ask for!

I just wanted to say Thank you to You and Steve for doing an amazing job at our wedding. You both were absolutely amazing. Jose and I are truly grateful for all the little extras you added to our wedding. Like the extra lighting and all the other details like the “R” on our sweetheart table.  Steve was great and we received so many compliments on how wonderful the MC was and how he kept the crowd interested. I loved the game we played, it was too funny!

Liz, I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything looked. It was breathtaking, so thank you! You definately made my day a lot easier and I will forever be grateful. I will make sure to refer you and Steve to any future Brides and Grooms =) It has truly been a pleasure working with both of you. Your professionalism and attention to detail is truly remarkable. I know you and Steve will be blessed cause you are 2 amazing people. I appreciate all you have done from the bottom of my heart.

Jose was very happy with all that he did. The lights were amazing and really made a difference, from the extra uplighting to the hearts on the dance floor, and the striking red light behind our sweetheart table….everything was perfect! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. You definitely made the wedding of our dreams a reality.
